How it works
Your taste, learned one dish at a time.
01
Rate the dish
Not the restaurant: the thing you ate. A score out of ten, a photo or a clip, and a line on how it was.
02
Mirch learns your taste
Every rating tunes your palate: what you love, what you could skip, and who else eats the way you do.
03
Know what to order
Open any place and its menu is ranked for you, with a match on every dish, before you’ve even sat down.
Rating
Rate the dish, not the restaurant.
A place can be great and still serve a forgettable side. Score each dish out of ten, and go deeper on flavour, value, portion and presentation if you like. A seven is great; nines are rare.

Why Mirch
Made for people who care what’s on the plate.
Dishes, not stars
Five stars says a place was fine. Mirch tells you the dish to get.
People who eat like you
Your matches come from palates like yours, not from whoever posts the most.
Real food, on camera
Short clips and photos of what actually came out of the kitchen.
Honest by design
Scores lock when shared. No paid reviews, no ads in your feed.
Dietary built in
Halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, down to the dish.
Menus from the table
Snap a menu and every dish on it joins Mirch for everyone.

Invite-only, on purpose.
Mirch is only as good as the palates on it. So it grows by invitation: every member brings in three people whose taste they trust. We’re starting in Toronto.
About Mirch
Mirch is a food discovery app. You rate the dishes you eat at restaurants, out of ten, with your own photos and short videos, and Mirch recommends dishes and restaurants you’re likely to enjoy based on your ratings and those of people with similar taste. It’s available on iPhone and on the web at diners.mirch.app.
Every photo and video on Mirch is a real one, taken and posted by a diner. Mirch doesn’t generate images or videos of people, and nudity and sexual content aren’t allowed: posts are checked automatically and can be reported.
Signing in with Google is optional. When you do, Mirch receives only your name, email address and profile photo, and uses them only to create and secure your account. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. Read our privacy policy and terms, or write to support@mirch.app.
